The A8 is mostly aluminIum so doesn't have a huge magnetic signature. But the mental image is priceless! (I see the A8 swallowed an anvil and is being followed by magnetic pick-axes!)
I noticed the front plate has what looks like a Venezualan flag. Were I to guess, jilted lover or wife. And the placement of the pick-axes were all (except one) on different body panels! That was premeditated!

I recalled all the roads through Houston (through they were rebuilding them at the time in 2001), & perhaps the greatest Interstate in America, I-10 astride the Gulf-Coast through hundreds of miles of marshland, essentially a road over the Gulf & through a forest; surreal. I-75 down the western-side of Florida, a far faster route to take since it is all 8-lane with perhaps 1/2 the traffic of I-95 on the East-Coast. BTW, if you are headed to Miami pick-up the Florida Turnpike in Ocala... You are MUCH less likely to get a ticket as this is already a Florida-state toll-road (revenue for the state). It is an unwritten rule that until you hit Broward/Dade counties you will not be ticketed unless you are driving in a reckless manner.

Burt Reynolds was a tailback at Florida State University, for whatever it's worth to you.

Found out a lot of great roads in NC last weekend. Just stopped & asked the locals. No traffic or cops. Can make a write-up on them if anyone is heading for that area. The Elan (with the right tyres & 4-pot brakes) is the best mountain-car in the world if you want to drive at 99/100ths & live.

MRI on Tuesday. Everything was OK until 3/4 weeks ago. Doc thinks scar-tissue is attaching to the repaired nerve; causing the nerve to get "caught" & not move freely. It is very painful but like before I have no choice but to go under the knife again as it is getting worse everyday.

This is kind of fun if you're small-minded :P ...Someone managed to fix a video camera to a slot car, presumably to see what it's like if your car literally 'cornered on rails'?

It's quite a long download so be patient.

Pretty grueling watching that car go -- slightly nauseating -- but WAY COOL

One of my favorite 80s songs. At first, it was weird, then I started to laugh, then there were tears in my eyes. Enjoy!

I seem to have lost my video of Alan DeCadenet getting buzzed by the Spitfire. Anyone know of which I speak and have a link? It was truly funny.
Rumors of my demise have been greatly exaggerated.

Hmmm, just watched Top Gear and thought "Hey I've seen that Audi with pickaxes before..." Hmmm, any news about getting an Elan on their track?

I love "Victory By Design", but not that much. Might change my mind after the Lotus episode, though.

Thanks for the link! I have to mute the end, but my boys just love that...

This is one seriously demented video that would make even David Lynch squeamish. You have been warned.
