I worked there in 1990's

There isnt much at Bacton, There was a pub and I think a Hotel called the Poachers Pocket or something like.

There was a pub at Edmundsley

We stayed for a bit in North Walsham which did have a few shops.

I used to stay at the Kings Arms in North Walsham quite often, about 10 years ago. Small friendly hotel not sure of prices now though. The Black Lion just up the road used to be quite sociable as well. Walsham is one of the bigger towns in the area with banks, shops etc.

Mundesley had a couple of decent pubs, remember a few visits to the Poachers Pocket as well. Never liked Cromer though!

Always found that part of Norfolk to be really friendly and relaxed. Plenty of B&B's around, would have thought the gas site had a few recommendations. Don't remember much in Bacton itself.
