I understood a 2-place open top Evora was planned or in progress but didn't think it was in production. A friend just snapped this at a car wash in Newport Beach. Do my eyes deceive? What is it?

Evora roadster may be on the Lotus Cars "wish list" but right now cash is a little tight for the company! Says someone that left a build deposit on a V6 Exige and is glad he used a credit card
