It would take a lot more than a "plastic bung" to deal with the spiders ive got!, I doubt anyone here has more of those Arachnid wee b*stards in their garage than mine, funnily enough though they dont bother me in the slightest, apart from the wee black dots of crap they drop on the Elan. One good thing though...keeps her indoors well away, she has the usual woman reaction to them.... OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!

Excuuse me! I quite like spiders. Moths on the other hand.......

Yesterday I had the classic "you women are all the same!'" From my brother. Apparently I'm no better at navigating than his fiancée. He spends the whole journey saying how rubbish the satnav is and always sends him wrong, whilst following its every direction. On the way home, it's saying turn right, so I'm saying turn right, he goes straight on. "Now we're going the wrong way! Find another route!" At which point I asked what I thought was a perfectly reasonable question: "do you have a road atlas?" No, I'm supposed to use Google Maps on his phone. How can you find a route when you can't get your location and destination on the screen at the same time and see the roads? It ends with him pulling over and snatching the phone off me. We then carry on the same way. Bit later on; "this is the road I usually go on'', lo and behold, also the way I'd suggested!

And of course their are some men with the same irrational fear, even ones that like to think of themselves as "hard" !. Moths are harmless, i grew up in the countryside so nothing like that bothers me, the thought of having to walk through some parts of London or Birmingham etc, at night and alone.... NOW THATS SCARY

Wouldn't go there either!, Im more of a Gairloch Strath to Cove via the Moorland and peat bogs man myself .

Local radio stations are currently playing a series of public messages in advertisement slots where a pair of people are talking as if on the phone. A few seconds in you realise that there are two separate conversations, one a child talking to his mother or a woman talking to some party-bound friends and the other is a mobile phone thief arranging to sell on his stash of stolen phones while eyeing up the other character as they natter on the phone.

Makes me remember the days travelling back from university in London in the middle of the night and (probably) doing a great job of looking poor.
