LEC and the RAF including Air Cadets

Postby Dave Eds » Fri 31.03.2017, 12:34

Picking up on Chipp's Honington thread, I thought it would be a good idea to have a dedicated airman thread. So who else have we got?

Sitting here at Brize, can any of you old timers exert some influence to improve the experience, there is real evidence of Government Austerity drive biting here, and whilst your setting influence if you can find a way of flying my Lotus back to Marchwood idc that'd be even better :)

I gave the RAF the best years of my life...correction the RAF gave me the best (9) years of my life so you can stick me on that list right at the top since I was an SAC when I left (Supreme Allied Commander if I remember correctly).

Or was that Senior Aircraftsman, it was a long time ago :D

Sorry, but the whole 'experience' went downhill when I left - could be coincidence but...

Did a stint at Brize, '70 to '72 so I apologise for not taking better care of the place.
