I do most of the work myself, but got a contact in rochdale and he did my cambelt. The lad who gave me the contact info is a mate of he`s and has seviced his car for the last 9 years and Dico`s mate mark had a A&C service done for about £180.

were about are u based? we have some meets with the NORLOG guys and some good runs. Have a look at the events section.

Twas £160 and he seemed to know alot about the cars and there (Limited)problems. Definately recommend as he did a few other bits for me within that price as well.

Someone was asking about garages that work on the Elan in Manchester. So thought i`d stick th details here

when i 1st got the Elan (4/5 years ago) i did use someone to do my Cambelt which was recommended by another Elan owner

GLS did my cambelt 4/5 year ago for £100 labour + VAT AND i supplied the cambelt, if you get the idler & tensioner pulleys yourself and maybe even a new waterpump i`m sure they wouldn`t charge much more to fit them too. It`s worth a phone call
