Rock Auto let me down. I ordered four reconditioned fuel injectors (FI, henceforth) online and they called me back six hours later to say their rebuilder was out of stock!
I searched some and found Lotus Elan OE-spec reconditioned injectors here
http://www.fuelinjectorwhse.com/injectors.php?id=MP3082 (Yes, these are our exact FI units) for $40 a pop. You can even send in your old FIs and get $10 back for each one, but I'll keep mine as spares. The resistance on one of my originals had gone off the ohm scale, causing the other FI on that circuit (FIs 2 & 4) to go offline as well, so I was a 2-cylinder man. A temp bodge is to run a direct wire across the FI harness-plug, electrically bypassing the bad FI, which will allow the "companion" FI to fire properly (IE, still receive an ECU signal). Then you'll have a mighty 3-cylinder! It seems pretty sweet when you've been running on two!!!
Anyway, the place in the link above is the actual rebuilder, and guarantee that their injectors all "squirt" within 5% of each other at the very worst. As they have the FI stock just sitting by their bed-side they can physically count how many they have awaiting your inquire. 23 were collecting dust when I called. They delivered them to me in an astounding single-day, and that was REGULAR ground shipping!
A great place to deal with if you live in the USA.
Strive for perfection in everything. (given time)
Take the best that exists & make it better. (given inclination)
If it doesn't exist, create it. (God did)
Ignore what I say. (good advice)
