AC Condenser [solved]

My ac condenser is all mangled up, car must have been a rebuilt wreak :\ I'm having trouble finding anything about them. I know the elan has a unique radiator but dose anyone know if the condenser is out of another car? Thanks!

My condenser was in pretty poor condition as well, some of the lower fins had corroded away and the rest wasn't far behind. Be careful when you come to disconnect it, I managed to shear the lower pipe fitting but did manage to get it repaired by a local AC specialist.

To clarify: There were 3 different AC Condensers used in the different M100 versions.

B100P0036F is the R12 Version for all cars that came with R12 FREON except US FED. It is obsolete as of June 18, 2014.
B100P0097F is the R12 version used in US FED cars. It is on the Aftersales list for £50.06 There are less than 20 left in stock.
A100P6054F is the R134 version used in later S2 models. It is on the Aftersales list for £226.56 There is probably only 1 (ONE) left in stock.

I do NOT believe that any of the condensers are interchangeable. The FED is different due to the different crash structure in the front and the R134 is different due to the pipes being in different locations.

It would help if you add your location to your profile so you can get the correct info based on your version.

I didn't know you had a US FED car? If you have a UK SE, then you needed B100P0036F which is now obsolete.

The FED condenser will NOT FIT the UK SE.

If you are in the US, Lotus USA will NOT order that for you. You will have to order it through a UK dealer and get it shipped to the US. DBE shows it at $471.90 which is based on the price in the US Lotus price book.

Ya i live in America Picked it up in Colorado a few months ago and drove it to its new home in California.

EDIT - Apr/2/2015 Called my local lotus dealer with the part number and told them it was a dealer item in the UK and they got it for me for ~130USD. Awesome!
