Hi All,
Need some advise. My radiator bypass pipe (RBP) is disintegrating from the inside out and causing coolant to leak. I am unable to find a replacement, and the local shops are having problems replicating the pipe due to the flare fitting on the o-ring end.
Could I create a thread in the hole that the RBP goes attach a stainless steel pipe fitting and replace the RBP with a hose? Or would the hose start disintegrating too due to the close proximity to the exhaust manifold and turbo?
Thanks,
Paul

It seems that there are others in the same boat.
It might be worth contacting Sinan:
