Oxygen Sensor

Hi All
Can anyone tell me where I can order a new Oxygen sensor. I'm looking for the Bosch type or possible the NGK version?

Then select Isuzu/1991/Impulse RS/Emission/Oxygen Sensor.

You need one of the 3 wire versions. Personally I'd go for the Denso at $58.79.

Thanks for the info.
Any reason for the preference. I noticed the Bosch # one mention the {Oxygen Sensor - OE Type Before Catalyst}

My S2 has a catalyst does this mean I should go for the Bosch?

My reason for the preference was that it was a 3 wire sensor with the correct looking plug at a reasonable cost from a reputable manufacturer.

Before you order, I might be interested in sharing the postage with you. I want to port my wastegate and have a horrible feeling my sensor is not going to come out without a fight.

JPS M100 was built from bare chassis up to create one off M100 in the mould of JPS Team Lotus

I can't help all of you but I bought one of these in the group buy a year back... anyhow, turns out SE's do not need one :roll:

So if anyone would like one at cost, without the extra of P&P from the states, let me know.

Oxygen Sensor

Dear Andy:

I can confirm for you that the Bosch unit is a direct replacement, down to the electrical connection and how the connection clips to the car.

Be sure to get a one-half inch drive O2 sensor socket (the ones with the slit cut down the side), penetrating oil and a long breaker bar. Then they come out no problem.

I know it's none of my business really, but it would seem reasonable that someone who needs it should take precedence over someone who just wants it?

How about I put it in the middle of the playground and the first one to grab it gets it :D

I've had a couple of PMs of which PaulP was first in line. However, in the gentlemanly manner that we have come to expect from him, he has suggested that he would be happy for the initiator of the thread to have first dibs on the O2 sensor.

Therefore... If AndyL still requires one, please let me know by the end of the week and for £30 inc postage it's yours. The sensor was brought as part of the group purchase 12 months ago from Discount Autoparts and is as follows:

STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS SG1069 OXYGEN SENSOR (Note: front ; upstream sensor ; 3 leads)


If I don't get a response from Andy by the weekend, I will offer the thing to PaulP as first responder. Sorry Paul Watkins - you were pipped to the drawer by PaulP, but if all else goes down the pan, you're third in line.... And Geoff, I'll bear you in mind if they all drop off the planet :wink:

I hope everyone is comfortable with that.

Hi guys (and girls) !
Does anybody know the correct reading from the o2 sensor ? On Elanscan the value jumps up and down between 0,1 and 3,6 V. (on idle). Is this correct, or a faulty sensor? Thanks for any answer.
