What is the Aisin part number for the water pump?

The Isuzu number is 8970314730 and the GM number is 97031473 neither of which is still available. Anybody know the Aisin part number and if it's still available? Didn't come up up with anything in the part cross-referance here. Can someone confirm where the Dayco pump is made? The last Dayco pump I bought for a Ford was made in China. Want to avoid that.

Personally, I would recommend the Airtex pump. Have a look on the RockAuto site. I have had 3 fitted with no problems whatsoever. And very cheap too

Did the box say where it was made? I'll be glad to pay a little more for made in Japan like an Aisin pump.

That'll be the easiest search you'll have for parts. Go to Rockauto, Isuzu, 1992, Impulse, turbo, engine then select the brands you fancy/prefer. Just make sure your GMB pump and new belt have the same tooth profile: it should be round not square.

Went with Continental for the timing belt kit. $82 on Ebay. Pulleys made in S Korea with GMB bearings and the belt made in USA. I'll put it on myself in a few weeks.
