C.A.S. Yet on sale?

Hello Great Britain,
I just bought my green Elan from '92 ( I had before a red one) and although I don't have any problem with CAS I would like to buy one as spare! Just in case...
I live in Portugal and the Lotus dealer here is extremely expensive! Can anyone tell me where in the Uk I can order it? and for what price?

I am not sure if you have Isuzu over there but it might be cheaper if you get one from Isuzu dealer if avalible.

I found the CAS here in the states very easily (and fairly inexpensively) by looking it up as an Isuzu part on:

I would assume that a parts dealer would not mind shipping to Portugal- for an extra fee, of course... Also- if you are trying to get in touch with him, Ian is out of the office until the 21st IIRC.

Are you saying it's that difficult? What about lancia's zagato, flaminia, gamma, matras, tr3, alfas e.t.c.? Maybe not with complicated electronics but what you think about dell'ortos and webbers? And complete overhaul of the boxer engines from the lancia gamma?!!!

Off course it was a joke! This is my second elan and I know wat is having troubles with it and having to drive 600km to fix it by a dealer that asks exorbitant amouts of money for routine reparations! So I'm going to do my homework and study all the Elan's manuals to enjoy relax this wonderful car! regards!!!
