If Carlsberg made rear calipers for the Elan...Now sold.

Well it would surely be something like this? :D

These are the latest upgrade and have been developed with the intention of being virtually a straight swap over, no rerouting cables, no holes to drill, nothing, just remove the original setup and replace with these,
the result is a handbrake that will lock your back wheels solid and go way beyond the MOT required efficiency of 16%. They also fit over 15" alloys.
£240 delivered anywhere in UK. I've seen single rotten and dirty originals on ebay for more than that. :D

After removing the old bracket fit the new one....

Then bolt the stub axle / disc back on the hub...

Fit the caliper and carrier to the bracket, attatch the cable and flexi hose, adjust handbrake cable / bleed brakes,
you now have a rear brake setup as good as or better than any M100 on the road. (And without spending 600 quid ;-) ).

A long way before it could be called concours Mark, not sure you could ever call a Lotus concours that has Japanese bits fitted from top to bottom. Thinking of putting an H badge on it and taking it to Japfest this year. :P

Sooner or later most Elan's will be wanting a set of these, especially as theres no need to jump through hoops to to get them on.
Once again, well done Jamie the innovator

Cheeky :D .

Aye you just fit the kit as is Joao, you might need to route the handbrake cable a bit lower on the earlier ones but other than that just bolt it on.

Hi

Are you planning to create any more of these?

I'd love two sets if they were available ...

For us in the states, I'm sure there are many of us who would love to buy the bracket off of you, then we can source the calipers over here to save on shipping for everyone.
