Rock Auto latest offers (Oct 2025, and again May 2026)

Postby dapinky » Wed 29.10.2025, 14:08

Not me selling anything, but I have just had an email from Rockauto.com with their latest 'closeout' offers and there is nothing on there that I need this quarter, but a couple of items are on sale at a cheaper price than normal, and may appeal to someone......

.... specifically, a Bosch 15701 O2 sensor (straight plug & play for an Elan - assuming that the wiring is complete in your car!) for £19.61

and a Delphi CV1000 IAC valve for £23.23

There is the usual selection of rear callipers and parts (slider rubbers etc) and lots of rear pads - with good ones for £4.41 - Raybestos PGD377M, which are the ones I use.
Dave

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

As of 27th May 2026

Having just had an email from Rockauto listing their current ‘close-out’ offers for the Isuzu Impulse, the Pontiac LeMans and the Oldsmobile Cutlass (relevant models/years for Elan parts!), I notice that whilst their standard inventory is constantly diminishing, their ‘close-out’ deals have very little to offer us……
……. Or me, anyway!

That said, I saw that they have some good buys for anyone who wants/needs any of the following, even if to stick on the shelf “Just in case”.
{please note, all listed prices are the published price, and do not include postage, tax, VAT, duty etc etc}

LUK 09017 clutch kit – (the right size for the Elan Turbo, and a good make) – it is the complete 3-piece kit, and listed at a price of £67.48. - - only 1 in stock https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.ph ... 93&jsn=240

CARDONE 184328 – Rear brake calliper, listed for Rear Left of the Cutlass, so is fitted on the Rear RIGHT side of an Elan…… listed at £21.40
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.ph ... 04&jsn=117

CARDONE 191390 – Front brake calliper, listed for Front Left of the LeMans, so will fit the Front RIGHT on the Elan…… listed at £16.94
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.ph ... 04&jsn=611

RAYBESTOS WK2732 – Front calliper seal kit….. £2.50 per calliper
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.ph ... 20&jsn=659

BENDIX H5711 – rear calliper slider rubbers and pad retaining rings - £1.25 for both rear units.
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.ph ... 36&jsn=153

RAYBESTOS PGD377M – rear brake pads (These are the ones I fit to my car, having researched all of the many types that Rockauto sell for the Cutlass/Elan – I have never had any problems with them)…. £4.42 a set
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.ph ... 684&jsn=89

As well as the above “close-out” items, I see that they are still listing rear callipers suitable for the Elan at a few quid more each…..
Nugeon 9717269A (LEFT side on the Elan) and 9717269B (RIGHT side on the Elan) at £29.58 each (that is the outright sale price, and includes the Core fee, so there is no need to return your old units at this price.

Dave - for info....

I tried ordering the clutch kit several times. It refunded the amount twice and on the 3rd attempt came back with the following message....

"Part # 09017 cannot ship to the EU or the UK because we do not have documentation from LUK about Russian steel content. Please choose a different brand. Click here to find an alternate"

Mark, Ah, I didn't try to buy it myself, so didn't notice that......

..... Like Joao says, they do that every so often on parts which were not intended for the EU market - I've had it with certain makes of brake pads.#

However, it didn't occur to me that it would be because of Commie Steel! (Especially since LUK was originally a German company, I assumed they were made in Germany, but looking on the interweb tells me that they have a plant in Ohio for the US market)
