I have read the wiki and posts here on the two b-post nuts to remove on each side top take the entire roof mechanism off. I can't work out which ones they are and was wondering if anyone has a picture that could highlight them for me. Don't really want to totally stuff the roof - just remove it while I have the hardtop fitted.
Forgive me for being dense!

If you lift the B-post caps, you will see 2 horizontal bolts about 4 inches long.
You need to remove these, then the roof will just lift off.

If you do remove the soft top while the hardtop is fitted I strongly advise fitting suitable bolts and locknuts in the 3 threaded adjuster hole in each side so you can put the roof back in the same position and save yourself a lot of adjustment when you refit it. I speak from experience on this
