Identify color code with chassis number ?

Have to have bumper repaint, but can't find the color code ... (sticker has gone...)
It is BRG, but there is several reference, need the one !

Heard that it is possible to identify the color code with the chassis number, but I don't know how ...
I sent an email to Lotus, but in the case someone here know ...

Chassis n° is SCC100ZT1NHF26308 (1992 SE), if somebody could help ....

Axel, according to the Wiki, you can phone Lotus customer service to get the information.

Thanks, I did sent them an email with my vin n°, just have to wait ...
but I was wondering if there was a kind of rule in the vin codification from which we can sort out the color code, but it seem it is more in their client database ...
