Hi All,
Judging by the in depth topics discussed on this forum my query may seem a bit run of the mill. Got two small tears, about 1 inch long, in the hood and want to patch them up. I've got some self adhesive patches for repairing tents and some 'seam sealer' to make a more permanent repair. If I stitch up the tear then apply seam sealer (from the inside) and then put the self adhesive patch over the tear (from the inside) will this last?
Look forward to hearing from you
Cheers
Rich

Hi Rich
Chances are the two tears are where the frame has rubbed on the hood when you open and close it .If you manage to do a successful repair its a good tip to get hold of two old seat belts and stick them on the inside of the hood with some 3M impact adhesive and this will prevent the problem from returning
Hope you fix it ok
