My M100 has lived outside in Virginia since 1997 or so. Use a good cover and expect to replace it every 5-7 years. When it was my daily driver I covered the car at work. I like the less expensive quilted style cover over the thin super high tech covers. The thicker covers help ward of small dings and scratches.
