Sikaflex question

Postby KellyBass » Wed 27.04.2011, 18:53

Greetings!

I'm getting ready to dive in to my front bumber disassembly and RRIM repair and as I understand it, the original bumper pieces were bonded together with Sikaflex. I'd like to go back with the original bonding material...as I can now testify to it's amazing (frustrating) strength. I was wondering which particular product number to use? I'm thinking 512?...Maybe?

Thanks!

Sikaflex 221 is what was used.
Goes off quite quickly, so in a home garage you need to use it smartish or throw away the tube.
