Seals S1 vs S2

Postby wayne » Sun 17.02.2013, 19:18

Trying to work out the differences in the early, later and S2 style Hood and door seals.

Does anyone have any information on them? Are they all interchangeable?

I assume every change unsucessfully tries to stop them leaking?

ie. Would an S2 door seal be compatible with a S1 car and hood...?
I assume it would leak... Just wondering if anyone had tried to replace one and it would not fit??

Many thanks

My understanding is that the seals are all alike but the hood design was modified for the S2 to cover them better hence making a better seal all a,round!

Be interested if this is the view if everyone else
