On the subject of the pre-cat eliminator, I had Hayward and Scott make me a custom pipe years back - It makes a massive difference and saves about 7kg in iron. The turbo spools quickly and it feels almost normally aspirated.
Also make sure you have an exhaust that has the 'squish' removed as the exhaust goes through the subframe.
