Loss of power

Postby DaveT » Sun 23.05.2010, 15:21

Whilst accelerating away from a round about the car went pop [loudly], the car stuttered and the engine light came on. I pulled over and turned everything off for a while and let it rest. Restarted OK but now seem to be in engine safe mode or whatever you call it. Will phone Gerald at GST tomorrow. Any thoughts out there?

Normally when you old timers drive it's ....

Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop Pop....

Have you checked to see what fault codes you have stored...

My guess is unburnt fuel in the exhaust.... Caused by... A failed injector/ ECM

if there's anything you require gives us a bell...

TTFN
If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire... The N/A-Team.
