I MAY have the same problem.
How did yours show up, how did you confirm that was the problem, and where did you end up getting one from?

I have just called around for a new BSV part no A100E6080F and been quoted £125.68 by all the dealers. I tried Hethel after sales on 01953-608000 and asked about availability, they said they have over 100 at £125.68, i then asked if they are on sale, he said no but i can do you one for £50inc vat and postage as we dont shift many :D

That HAS to be today's top tip - back o' the net! :D

Just one thing - did you get a contact name or extension number?
If my other current line of enquiry doesn't work out then I'll definitely be following up on this one. Ta.

Mel Broome - Aftersales Manager.

Sorry I've left his card on my desk at work, but you can ask for him through the switchboard. Mention my name (he knows me as Simon V).

Matt

The price of the BSV was something that Mel offered (not an agreed to everyone) price. Mel's back off his hols on Monday IIRC.

Oh it definitely helped! My old one WAS on it's way out. And I finished it off by trying to dismantle and repair it. It stayed, erm, "permanently dismantled"!

Unfortunately I reckon there's still something else that's not quite right.
