okay -- who knows French?
Hector, just type the problem in French or use a translation website or both so we can get more information about the problem.

Monty,
no light , only a slow down of the car's accelaration and then again an increasing of the speed .

hector, I still do not know enough about the problem to say for sure, but it is a possibility that the hall effect sensor in the CAS (cam angle sensor unit) is going foul. If so replacement of this sensor would fix the problem.
but like I said I do not know this is the problem, but it is a possibility.

To all,
On the same subject about my Elan M100, I make test yesterday and in fact when I puch the engine, the outlet turbo pressure increase to more than 0.92 bar and I read on the "LOTUS SERVICE NOTES , Section EC, page 59 " that if the boost pressure in excess of 0.92 bar ( 13.5 lb/in²) is detected for more than 0.5 sec the fuell pump will switch off .
I am pretty sure is what appen but I don't now why and which part of the engine is in default and wath to do.

It sounds like you are describing what we call "overboost." This is too much turbo pressure, and like you say the car will cut the fuel off if this happens.
One common cause is a sticking wastegate actuator rod. This is the little metal rod that moves the wastegate. Grab the rod with some molegrip/pliers and give it a wiggle to be sure it is moving, then drive the Elan and see if anything changes.

Have a look at the first picture on
this page.
You can see the little silver actuator rod just below the turbo. It leads from a small vacuum diaphragm unit on the right and disappears behind the heat shield on the left.
Now thank nice Mr.Dico for taking his engine out to show you.

Striking fear into the hearts of duplicate posts everywhere...!

Neil

Hector,
A lot of people have had trouble with that little rod sticking. I hope it is the reason for your problem, because it is easily fixed.
If it doesn't work, ask us again for more ideas.
To avoid any doubt, the rod you need to move is in the picture below:
good luck,
John

Good result the problem is solved. I make wath you suggest and the turbo pressure stop at 0.6 bar when I push the accelerator.
Tank a lot to everybody.
