Turbo overboost. It's interesting that you're only getting it now Jay as I presume you've had the Peco on for some time. Mine did it from day one and I'm still working to get the wastegate ported!

Think you'll need to do the wastegate wiggle if it's started out of the blue!

Is it an SE or S2?

Sounds like the best plan of action. There was a thread on here somewhere about the best lubricant to use on the wastegate actuator, and I think WD40 came low down the list as it would burn off very quickly and leave unwanted deposits on the arm.... will have a quick look to see if I can find it.

Have u got a ESM chip fitted? if it`s not the waste gate then the chip may help as it has a very slightly higher fuel cut off. If that doesn`t do it then it maybe time to port the wastegate :shock:

I must have gone asleep on my post yesterday. I meant to continue and say it was more likely to be the wastegate than any long term drift. The fact that it has been laid up for some time points to the wastegate as well. Unless of course the base timing comes into the equation. I suspect my base timing may be out (and base timing is at the root of so many problems) so intend to check it and see if it makes a difference. Otherwise, it's the wastegate porting for me. :cry:
