my electric mirrors work, my heated mirror light comes on near the gearstick when i push the button but the mirrors dont clear any ideas?

Check the circuit to the door mirrors. Electric circuits are in the manuals section.

You can start by pulling the glass off, or the little triangle of plastic on the front of the door, or the door card and get to work on the wiring connectors with a multimeter or test bulb.

If the switch illuminates, it could be a wire's been disconnected between it and the mirror. Or, my favourite reason for the electric mirror not demisting as found on my Discovery, a previous owner had cracked the mirror and just glued a new one on top.
