door window drops at rear-motor ok

Hi, I know there are many posts about door windows and regulators. I searched but could not find my problem. My left side window (USA model) drops down at the rear and will not come up. I have taken apart the door and if I push op the rear of the window from inside the door, it will then go up fine. Motor is strong, relays are new. If I do not put the window all of the way down, it will come up fine. But if I put the window all of the way down,it will perhaps come up 1/4" and then stop. The car was owned by a collector and kept in climate controlled storage until Oct 2013 when I bought it with 4,000 miles. It now has 7,600 miles. Any thoughts would be appreciated

The answere is in this group of posts. Most likely the butterfly or the actual main runner slider - see his diagnostics flow chart.

The parts are available in the US from ME (I have a few extras) or DBE in Calif.
