Ahem and goodnight...

Postby sideways » Wed 07.08.2019, 22:49

That's what it said yesterday - ahem - and then went to :asleep: as I was noodling through a car park in 2nd gear at low speed.

I depressed the clutch and did a bump start, yes I know, naughty but...fired up just fine.

Did it again as I was idly idling at the lights, started it on the key this time.

Saw the revs drop last week when I pushed the AC button.

So - Filter? Fuel Pump?, - (definitely(?) wasn't electrical as it slowly went :asleep: .

Not a big concern as I don't drive it as often as I could - but I do drive it often enough to blow away the cobwebs, move the fuel from tank to engine and rarely putter around other than in car parks.

I had a similar issue recently with the Blue Car. Often when I approached a junction or traffic lights it would die. It turned out to be the vac hose had come off the non return valve for the evaporative emissions system. I must have knocked it off when I changed the oil filter.
