Head studs and hardware

For anyone interested in someday replacing the head studs with stronger bits, ARP does make the right parts for our engine. If you check for a kit, one does not show up, however the individual parts are available.

the stud is AU4.800-1LUB priced at $8.16.
the washer is AUW-750 $0.89ea
the nut is AUN-12-2 $4.07ea

alternative nut is AUN-12-1

There are a few threads on the Isuzu site reagrding the same and one or more members may be able to order them at a bit of a discount over what ARP would charge. Here is the end of one of the main discussion threads reagrding an ARP group buy:

You could also check with the guy who was selling the ARP rod bolts/nuts to see if he can do better.
