One parcel has has arrived from America excellent :D . My mechanic has asked me to supply him with all the relevant torque settings. Could someone tell me what they are and where I could find them

John,

If you have a copy of the Workshop Manual, then the 2 particular chapters you need to look at are :-

Chapter "Technical Data-Engine" (TDG)

&

Engine (EC)

The Manual is hosted by B-C-N, and if you go to any of his posts, and look in the "Signature" block at the bottom, you can follow the link and download it....

Just the one now, but this one's mine! - and it will be finished eventually..... - but also temporary custodian of a project until it is finished enough for Angie to drive it

...oh, and a 2006 Freelander destined for the jungles of The Gambia - 4500 miles across roads, desert and tracks - what could possibly go wrong?

Hi Dave

Yet again I have to thank you. Without the help I have received I think the car would have been moved on, and something with a 5 in the name would be on the drive, which would be a shame as I have yet to have a good run in Elan,

What a pity. I can't think in over 16 years of M100 ownership ever having a bad run  Well, maybe when the battery ran flat or the alternator blew but I still made it home under my own steam
