Does anyone have any idea why this code would still show up car seems to drive fine but I herd that if there is a code present I will not get full boost?

I'm fairly sure that CEL error codes are retained for quite a few engine turn ons (can't remember how many at present)
So, if you haven't tried this already, disconnect the battery to reset the ECU then re-connect and go through the paper clip test again
If the 41 error code has gone you've solved the problem. If it reappears, then it may still point towards the HES or the CAS unit
