Injector inspector

Hi. I need to replace my injectors (cleaned and checked- and yes two failed). So a bit of advice please.
1. Should you always replace them in sets? What is best practice.
2. Which is best. I see Delphi sets, and others not specified. I also see RC are available, but very expensive. Chat on the forum is a bit old, from what i can see on this topic, so wondered if there is any real world experience available. Anyone run Delphi and not had a problem for example.
3. Is there an impact on the ECU. I confess I got confused by the old tech talk on the forum.
4. Any recommended suppliers of injectors/advice in the UK please?

I'm fortunate that Scholar Engines are only 17 miles up the A140 from me and have always provided a successful cleaning service for me and I have a couple of spare injectors too.
Dave Pink has posted a thread that gives info on Elan injectors still available from the USA just over a year ago and the link still works..

There is a great advantage in sticking with the OE injector type as you already have 2 that work so can be kept as spares and used if necessary, but it will probably ensure the new set behave impeccably!

Having read further on in that thread, I see Dave Pink's link shows 2.5 ohm, not 2.0 as Lotus state the OE were... but I'll measure my OE Lotus ones and check. Lotus are a tad inconsistent with some of their figures.

They need to be in sets but they don't have to be in matched sets. Ie 4 identical aftermarket or 4 OE.
Don't mix them as the spray pattern, flow rate and Ohms will be different.

the correct injectors have always been expensive.

Phil's 2 OE injectors sound like your answer!

Phil the spec is 2.0 the tolerance is +0.2 Ohms
