I have an intermittant difficult start so it has prompted me to get Elan Scan up and running. Elan Scan is very impressive and the USB serial interface module on active-robots.com works perfectly.
Anyway, back to the problem... I have uploaded a scan file from a cold start. The car started first attempt but it struggled into life and you can see this in the time it takes to reach idle speed. Sometimes it has taken 6 attempts before it fires - the engine spins OK so the battery is good.
I can't see anything obviously wrong in the scan so I will look further at non-management factors. I would be really grateful if anyone who knows what the cold start should look like could take a squint at the file. Also if anyone could run a scan on a good starter and upload the file, it would be a great comparison. The Elan is an S2 - not sure if it makes any difference.
