help with these scans please (for Ray D and mickmick's cars)

Postby mickmick » Fri 02.11.2007, 20:25

Hi folks, been out to see Ray D's car today and look at his fault, it is an odd one and no mistake

we did find that his diagnostic idle wasnt set right, and also his throttle cable is a little loose

however, maybe the best thing is these two scans we did of his car, the first one is from cold, the second is when warm

and there's a scan of mine from cold(my house) to when i got to rays, i dont think there's anything going wrong, but if someone can see a problem i'd appreciate the heads up

(now to try to add the scans)

I've only had time for a quick look but the logs appear to be as Ray describes here. The revs don't drop down to target idle until the car is stationary.

At the end of Ray's run, the DRP interval hovers around 20 until he is stationary then it ramps up to 30. Similarly, the spark advance is around 7 then starts wandering around between 5 and 15.

Any ideas?

Thank you Mick, and Geoff, and anyone else who is racking their brains, or just taking interest.

Ray,
One of the downloads was me, just curious and having a play with Elanscan. Hopefully the experts will sort you out.
Good luck
