ElanScan and ALDL interface cable ?

Postby esp88 » Tue 04.12.2007, 21:15

Hi

I bought Elan SE Turbo 92 U.K version last month and I would like to use the Elan Scan (I already downloaded).

My question is :

Can I use the ALDL cable which I used for my Esprit (Freescan) ?
I checked the el. diagrams and the showed the same ALDL and terminal positions (but not sure interface are same)!

The reason is I just changed S2 type ECM, mounted CAT and O2 sensor to pass the Danish MOT !

Thanks

Yasuo,

I think there is a very good chance it will. If you have any details of the FreeScan interface and you want me to check it out for you, feel free to e-mail them to me.

It'll work. I copied my first interface design from a link on an Esprit site
It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but it doesn't take any to sit on your arse with a blank look on your face.

Click on my WWW link for information on chips and ElanScan.
