Postby mickmick » Tue 26.02.2008, 23:18

As it says on the tin

i have fitted a PECO and one of ESMs chips and done a run

was a long run, and at night on busy-ish roads so couldnt do any 30-70 runs, i just want to know for now if it looks like all is running right in my engine with the latest mods.

cheers for any answers Geoff or Alan (hint hint) :-D :-D :-D

Firstly:
I have not looked at your log file, although I probably will later.
If I had, I am not experienced enough with reading Elanscan to give you an answer very quickly.

Did you do a scan before the mods as well? It would be interesting to see the differences.

Ok, a couple of things to look for:

The chip should give you more boost, which you should be able to see quite easily.
The exhaust should give you more power at high revs, but not have as much effect down low. Plotting power v rpm for how it was then how it is should reveal a difference here.

I have not got Elanscan with me  , otherwise I would take a look.

Sorry Mick, I haven't had time to look at them. And you needn't have loaded the others, I've still got copies! (sad git, I know)

I'll take a look when I've got a bit of spare time but in the meantime, why not have a go Rip? :poke:
