Im having a problem with the driver installation, im faily good with pc stuff normally, downloaded, unziped, set the file to search for the driver in the correct folder.
'Cannot find necessary software'
any ideas?

sorry ive sorted it now, i had to redo my usb controller etc think its time for a full new clean install

this is very true, its my work laptop so nothing goes on other than photos and legal music. Still windows manages to screw up. No funny downloads or dodgy software.

That's why I run Xubuntu Linux for my daily machine. Windows only gets booted for ElanScan and Quicken. But we digress from ElanScan now...
