scan at High idle - comments requested.

When I met up with KO6SY yesterday, Malcolm asked me to scan the car and post the results here. The attached .zip file contains three scans, one at idle, the other on surface streets, the third entering and then cruising on the freeway. A quick look-through shows the car is boosting OK and the TPS seems correctly adjusted (0% at idle, 100% at WOT)

The car seems to be idling a bit fast as seen in the idle capture. Also, timing is moving around a bit at idle. The WOT full-boost shows the knock indicator incrementing. Could this be base timing? A failing hall-effect sensor? a bit of both?

Please take a look through the scans. Comments welcome.

Idle Graph: I agree the idle is too high. Timing appears low approx. 8 degrees, also IAC position seems high (2)
MalcolmontheRoad Graph: as above plus, 3 of the knock events have retard applied, 2 of these 3 events occur when the secondary throttle came in (Flag12). Other than that the boost looks good as do the rest of the parameters AFAICT.
MalcolmFreeway Graph: 3 more knock events, no retard applied -- all 3 at high boost/throttle.

Think I'd do base timing and idle adjustment first and redo the ontheRoad scan before investigating further.

Thanks, Tony. This follows my thinking.
