I am keen to see if the car is running right so I have bought and received a ALDL cable through E Bay from Red Devil River. I have installed the drivers and Elanscan. When it is all connected up error log says "Check byte failure"," No Reply" although I can see it is reading some of the information ie rev speed, engine temperature.
Is this ALDL cable compatible with Elan Scan. It has two pins, is this right? are they in the correct slots? If cable OK what am I doing wrong?
Any advice appreciated
