evenin all, i finally got round to hooking up missy to the laptop and after a lot of farting about getting it all to talk to each other i managed to log a few minutes of data driving round the block. it seems to show 4 faults but i don't know how to interpret the data. she has been stuck in limp home mode since i got her running again this year, a good few months ago and before i got the cable i done the paper clip test and it showed up as a throttle position sensor fault. i have a zip file here of the data if anyone can have a look? all help appreciated

Only one fault (b2 = fault #4) - no output from the TPS. There should be 5V on the red lead and anywhere between about 0.5V and 4V on the white lead depending on throttle position.

there's only on f in Geof Smith is yer man Stevie. He's especially good with Geordie Elan scans

Yup, TPS Low Fault is showing 'ON' and plot of TPS Voltage & Engine Revs against Engine Run Time shows it's output is 'grovelling around' at 0.2 & 0.4 Volts but does spring into action around 95 seconds but dies immediately after. ECU won't know what the throttle is doing ...
I'm just about to go play football & pub after so won't be back on here till after 11pm ... - so will try to answer any queries then ..

I think you'd have to look extremely hard through old threads/posts before you could find anything helpful that I've ever posted on an elanscan question (unless you count the times I've poked Smiffy or Flashy Phil)....
