Three thoughts:
Check the sensor is connected back to pin D7 on the ECU (via RHFHC8 and MHC3).
Check that there is an earth to the sensor.
Check that there is 12V connected to the O2 sensor heater.

MOT today :
CO 0.53 against a max of 3.5
Pre O2 sensor last year was 4.3
So I think it is working - ESM, you are a genius :D
Brakes? That's another story :roll:
