I've just found and fixed the cause of an EGR fault and I'd like to clear the code out of the ECU. The Lotus documentation says this can be done using the Tech1. Does ElanScan have a similar function? If yes, where? If not, I guess I can always pull the battery lead (where are the CNTL/ALT/DELETE keys on the ECU anyway?

Doug,
I don't think ES has that facility, so pulling the battery lead will clear the code.

Was hoping for an alternative, since pulling the battery also resets the "learned" A/F parameters and the ECU needs to be retrained. Oh well, it was worth a try.

I could add it but there has never seemed much point as pulling the power is just as good. The 'learning' doesn't take a significant amount of time. Certainly a lot less than the programming would take!
