ElanScanInterface USB Opto 3.3V driver download?

On the http://wikilec.com/view/ElanScan page it says:
ElanScan is available for download from ESM's old website, information on obtaining suitable interfaces is available at GeoffSmith's website

The ESM’s old website ElanScan download link: http://www.alanmcnicol.dsl.pipex.com/M100_ALDL.html has been returning nothing to me for a week. Nothing as in a blank page and/or timing out.

And the same applies for there's only on f in Geof Smith’s website: http://www.lecinterfaces.talktalk.net/index.htm

I have got version 0.9.9.63 of ElanScan, but she no go without the appropriate ElanScanInterface USB Opto 3.3V driver.

So where can I get the drivers for there's only on f in Geof Smith’s ALDL USB interface-optically isolated cable?

And should I be using a different version of ElanScan?

Oooo. Thanks Fredjohn. All of that stuff hiding behind MANUALS that I didn't know about! Luverly. Let the downloading begin...

The ElanScan button does get me to a copy of the program, but there are none of the drivers that are so essential for Windows, and that is my current stumbling point.

Since he made my ALDL USB interface-optically isolated cable, I have sent a PM to there's only on f in Geof Smith, so hopefully he will be able to fix me up if nothing is forthcoming from this forum post.

Try searching for "FTDI driver" in your favorite search engine. Depending on your version of Windows the installation may vary. On one computer I installed it on, I needed to first enable the 'Ports' section to show up in the Device Manager in Windows (do another web search on how to do it for your version of windows if needed), then on www.ftdichip.com I found a driver for a Vitrual Com Port (VCM) as well as the D2X.XX Direct Driver. Once I had those drivers then I could follow the installation instructions from the wiki. On another computer it was way more plug and play and I just needed to click the yellow triangle, YMMV.
