On my ECU someone has written the number 938A or 9384 with a letter C beneath it .The lable has been removed also.
I am in the process of upgrading with an Everest chip but I need to know if my Elan has a 9929 or 9930 chip.Has someone had this numbers written on their ECU?

well one way to know for sure is to use ElanScan to make a "prom dump", send it to Alan, and he'll tell you exactly what code you have . . .

The PROM ID should appear at the top of the list on the LHS of ElanScan.
