Alarm bonnet trigger switch

Postby LeedsMike » Mon 22.05.2023, 08:25

Thanks to @saltire I managed to install a new alarm without cutting into any part of the loom.

It is a Sigma S30 - if anyone wants to do this, I created a map for the wiring that would serve as a quick guide to what connects to what; happy to share offline….

One last task is to install a bonnet trigger switch and this is a bit of a head scratcher on where to place it.

Any suggestions? Might be best to PM me to avoid sharing alarm install data on a public forum

Thanks in advance!

This is where the bonnet trigger is fitted on my Elan on the clamshell over the top strut mounting position. It does have a lot of travel and seems to work fine.
