main chassis earth

Postby French_elans » Thu 18.06.2026, 15:33

Hello,

a question about the main chassis earth point (the one at the RHD behind the seat).

is it easily reachable?
I would like to change it.

Yes. It routes to a junction box with 8mm std - plenty of similar cables available or I could make you one.
The negative terminal is a Ripaults part but it’s a very generic part.

Easier to fit a new battery connector to the existing wire - the chassis earth is difficult to access
