Lots of interesting stuff on this trail that is stll relevant, dispite being 10 years old (ish).
Sooo.. has anyone tried a 'floating screen' head unit.... and if so, which one?

depends on what you mean by floatin screen.

fredjohn has a unit that pops out and folds up on hes car.

I have one of those but its installed on my Celica instead.

My Elan has a bluetooth radio that connects to the phone. and a 3d printed phone holder (with USB charger) that replaces one of the dash blanks. at the end of the day, everyone that drives they car enough to be bothered finds some way or other to make it more confortable
