Were Elan headlamps used on other cars as well?

For my trip to Scotland in my LHD Elan I need to put stickers on my headlamps in order not to blind other cars in the UK.

I have a list of cars with detailed info where exactly on the headlamps to put this sticker. Off course our Elan is not on that list

Therefore I would like to know if the 1991 Elan headlamps were used on other cars as well.
And if so, can anyone tell me which brands/models that was?

I think, but I'm not 100% sure, that Jaguars (XJ??)of that era (late 80s) had a similar set up - 4 x 5" or so headlights, 2 on when dipped, 4 up on main.

will u b driving at night. it doesn't get dark til about 8pm.

just stick a triangle of black electricians tape on your lights. when they are down nobody sees it anyway.

If it's the XJ, wouldn't that go back to the 70s? I'm eventually going to get HIDs so this info would be helpful.

The car that muley is on about is the '86-'95 XJ6 (Also known as the XJ40). In America they may have only have had the square headlights like our sovereign version but our non sovereign had twin round headlights.

The 70's XJ6 also had twin round headlights but the pair were made up of a larger and smaller diameter light.

John Diffley mailed me a copy of a maintenance booklet, the page on which is clearly descibed what parts of the headlamps to cover in order not to blind other cars when driving abroad.
So, my problem is completely solved
