LH Light struggle to come up and crash down!

My left hand light struggle to get up and then comes down really fast with a bang. Does any1 know what the problem is? is it a worn motor or sumthing else?

And the repair kit is available online still. The left side is meant to be a little trickier, but I'll let you know how it goes, as I'm just heading outside to fix mine

Bit of confusion to what kit i am actually buying, Is it the Ford power window/Tailgate rebuild kit? of which there seems to be only 1 sort. $5.75? just confused coz at the top of the link it says... Click HERE and order the kit for the "87-88 motor". You may want to get the gaskets too...

Hi Paul,

I used Rodney's site for parts, here is the URL http://www.rodneydickman.com/retail.html
I used the Fiero 87-88 Headlight Kit (also marked 88-02 Lotus Esprit/Elan), and ordered both the kit and the gaskets as the price is very good.
For the rebuild I followed Andy Yim's updated directions as it was my left light pod that was acting up.
If you're as hopeless mechanically as I was it'll take 20 minutes to replace the bushings, but about four hours to get the motor out and back in again!
