Rear Light Cluster - Internal Cover Brackets

The earlier cars have two aluminium brackets over which rest the internal plastic covers, which are attached by plastic turnkey lugs and can be removed from inside the boot.<br>(The later models have a single turnkey which attaches directly to the top centre of the clusters).<br>I'm trying to source the two outboard (ideally) brackets, one of which is listed on page 15-23A of the parts manual as part # A100U0287F.  Of course, thay haven't got a diagram of the bloody things either!<br>Has anyone got one or two of these knocking about by any chance?

That's them...didn't realise there was a horizontal bar between the two brackets on one side though.<br>Your note of the difference between the two sides would explain the apparent lack of one being listed in the part manual.

Sy,<br><br>Is it the aluminium bracket or the blue pastic lugs you need.<br><br>If its the plastic lugs they look remarkably similar to the plastic lugs which hold the waterguard over distributor cap on 1980's/90's minis and mount on top rocker cover.<br><br>By a remarkable coincidence Lotus use  these Mini parts to hold timing belt cover in place on Excel SE's   ;D<br><br>
